Cynthia Hartz, D.V.M.
Dr. Hartz received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from University of Illinois in 1984. She worked in private practice for 5 years before founding the Animal Medical Center in 1989. Dr. Hartz lives with her husband Doug and three sons, Bill, Sam and Karl. The Hartzs have a Labrador Retriever named Maximum, a Dachshund named Minimum, 2 cats named Elwood and Jake, a cockatiel named Peter, a bearded dragon named Sparky and an African fat-tailed gecko named Sushi.
Outside of work, Dr. Hartz enjoys running, Bible study, reading, and being a Mom!
Dr. Hartz is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association, Association of Avian Veterinarians and American Association of Feline Practitioners.

Brian Novak, D.V.M.
Dr. Brian Novak graduated from the Michigan State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. He joined the staff of Animal Medical Center in September of 2005. Dr. Novak is originally from the Chicago area and came to the Philadelphia area from Florida where he practiced veterinary medicine, specializing in exotic pets.
Dr. Novak lives with his Border Collie mix, Guinness and two female bearded dragons, Guenevere and Georgia. Dr. Novak's personal interests include kayaking, fishing and zymurgy. Dr. Novak's professional interests reside in exotic animal medicine and surgery.
Dr. Novak is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, The Association of Avian Veterinarians, the Association of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians, the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians and the Veterinary Sportsman’s Society.
Bridget Hanley, V.M.D.
Dr. Bridget Hanley is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She joined the staff of Animal Medical Center in September of 2005. Dr. Hanley is from the Philadelphia area and practiced in Gilbertsville before she joined AMC.
Dr. Hanley lives with her husband Chad, who is a high school teacher, Clancy, an orange tiger cat, and her two English bulldogs, Matilda and Bruno.
Dr. Hanley's personal interests include reading, jogging, and dressing her bulldogs in costumes to visit hospitals.
Dr. Hanley's professional interests reside in internal medicine, exotic animal medicine, surgery and animal behavior.
Dr. Hanley is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association and the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association
Dr. Hanley is very proud of her "Top Dog" contest winners, Matilda and Bruno, who were featured in the 2010 American Cancer Society calendar!
Kara Stover, D.V.M.
Dr. Stover graduated from Souderton Area School District in 1993, Albright College in Reading PA in 1997 and The Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. She practiced in Sellersville for over 5 years prior to joining AMC in January of 2007.
Dr. Stover lives with her husband Eric and sons, Will and Jonah. Over the years, the Stovers have adopted a mixed breed dog named Aria, a poodle-mix named Cadence and a retired blood donor kitty named Nick.
During her free time, Dr. Stover enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as taking trips to the mountains of Tioga county PA and the beaches of Delaware and New Jersey.
Dr. Stover is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association and the American Animal Hospital Association.
Karen Crocker, D.V.M.
Dr. Karen Crocker graduated from Hollins College in Roanoke, Virginia and the University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine. Before joining AMC in February of 2008, Dr. Crocker was an associate veterinarian in Chester County and did veterinary work in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Crocker lives with her husband, Adrian. Their animal family includes 2 dogs: Kanga and Elliot, both mixed breeds. Dr. Crocker also has 4 domestic short hair cats: Merlin, Irene, Harriet and Arthur.
In her free time, Dr. Crocker enjoys hiking her dogs and horseback riding -- especially combined training and dressage.
Dr. Crocker is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association and the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association.
