We would like to thank your practice for all that the veterinarians, vet. techs, and staff at the front desk do for us. Your practice exceeds our expectations regularly. Compassion flows freely, and even during those tough times when we have lost a treasured pet, your staff has helped us to cope and move forward. Dr. Novak and Dr. Hanely are both spectacular veterinarians and truly know volumes about exotics. We appreciate the excellent care and life saving that has occurred due to the expertise of knowledgeable and caring staff. Thank you all so much!

Hi All, It seems you only to see my “my kids” when they’re sick and stressed. Thanks to all your love and care this is how they are when they’re “hanging-out”. There’s Harvey – who loves his new home and all his siblings; breakfast – their favorite meal of the day; TV time – their second favorite time of day; Zoey Elizabeth; Zachary, and Sabrina – who is always in my heart. A couple of months ago I was in the office with my 6 year old cat "Snowball" for her annual check up. While we were there I shared with the staff Snowball's recent accomplishment and the staff asked me to email you regarding our story.....
You see, Snowball recently became a celebrity by placing second in the 2007 Litter Maid Top Cat Contest. Snowball won over $300.00 worth of prizes and is featured in the December 2007 issue of Cat Fancy magazine which is on new stands now. She is also featured in their 2008 Calender (we call her "Miss March"....lol). We are all so proud of her and believe me, she knows just how much of a princess she is and takes full advantage of it. I have attached a copy of the prize winning Photo if you would like to see it.

The
Mystery of Max
He's my cutest little dude
although he sometimes "cops a tude".
His darling psyche has two sides -
one is Jekyl and the other Hyde.
He only weighs about ten pounds
but after St. Bernards he'll bound.
He'll chase them 'til they're out of sight
for they respect his vicious bite.
When he's done his head's held high
he knows he's tough he'll tell you why.
For he was bred to guard the queen
you see, his job is being mean!
And at the vet he's just a mess
he may be cute but they confess.
It takes a muzzle, towel and noose
to hold him so he won't let loose.
They put a towel around his head
for if he sees those hands they're dead.
The only way to check his mouth
is to put him under, north and south.
When he's done they say with joy
"on these drugs, we love your boy!"
With pride I give this guy a hug
I just adore my little thug!

Duke Bauer Duke (Boxer/American Bulldog mix) is enjoying a beautiful sunset on the Sassafras River, Maryland with his family Fred, Paula, Lauren and Kevin Bauer.
